I love the work, and bookkeeping, I do but I love it even more at Sandra Tapia CPA! We work as a TEAM! Everyone is treated like family here! Everyone is acknowledged with respect and courtesy! My coworkers are always helpful, and we learn new things from each other all the time, even with 25-plus years of experience! I appreciate that I can share what I know and receive what I don’t without disdain! We celebrate not only holidays but each other! We have FUN! I enjoy working at Sandra Tapia CPA due to the company-wide mindset fostering education and growth. The culture truly is one of helping each other where lacking, to build each individual to be the best they can be, which in turn builds the team as a whole. I have never felt alone in my job, unappreciated, or dreaded coming to work. Management honestly cares how you are doing, and they want to help you do your best.

My position at the company gives me a unique variety of tasks, never leaving me bored or unchallenged. The diverse projects in my position allow me to ensure the growth of the company, other employees, and myself. I enjoy helping people, and this job allows me to not only help clients but our employees as well. Each day challenges my mind and stimulates my desire to learn and grow within the business. It doesn’t hurt that we also have a ton of fun together you have amazing coworkers and managers, and your job is just better.

My days are often filled with client & staff meetings, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and reviewing financial statements. However, moments that truly fill my passion are collaboration with my team to catch discrepancies and successfully resolve them, ensuring the financial health of the company. Additionally, working with and supporting the bookkeeping department, and witnessing their growth and achievements adds immense satisfaction to my role. In the end, contributing to the smooth financial operations of the company and witnessing its success is what drives my enthusiasm for my job.

I have been working full-time since January 2021 and previously worked part-time while completing my degree. As the Operations Manager, I work to improve efficiency through all avenues. I enjoy learning and teaching staff to help guide them into being as successful as they want to be. Human resources, administrative operations, and process management are all facets to the office that I spearhead. When she is not in the office, you can find Amber cheering on her daughter at sports, traveling, or at the spa.
